The HOA Board of Directors met at the Clubhouse on May 8th, 2017 at 630pm.
Here is the agenda:
The Board discussed the following items: Landscaping proposals, pool opening, maintenance issues (gutters, stone cleaning and sealing around the pool, metal railings around pool, concrete work throughout community, staining of Forest unit doors, dryer vents, and lighting).
The Board approved proposals for irrigation repairs and and one plant replacement.
The pool will be open for swimming on May 20th.
There are several gutters that overflow on a regular basis. The current hardware is apparently not capable to handle the amount of water flowing from these roofs. The Board approved a bid to install additional downspouts and larger gutters on four buildings. If successful, this process may be applied to other buildings.
Following a recent physical inspection of our roofs, the Board approved several minor repairs, including replacing some of the plastic roof vents with metal vents.
Addressing some of the 2017 Reserve study scheduled items, the Board has approved a bid to clean and seal the stonework around the pool area (excluding the pool deck). The metal railings and pool gates will be cleaned and painted also.
This summer, concrete work will be performed throughout the community.
The Forest doors that have not been re-stained in the past three years will be done this summer.
We continue to change many of our lights throughout the community to LED, however, it appears to be cost prohibitive to change the rear garage lights as we would also have to change the fixtures and our current lights are relatively efficient.
You may have noticed TVFandR driving their hook and ladder truck on our neighborhood streets. While the Board encourages our residents to park safely and legally, it is encouraging that this large truck was able to maneuver easily in our rear driveways and on SW Rustica and Foresta, even with cars parked on both sides of the street.
These are not the official meeting minutes. when they are approved at the next meeting, they will be posted on TMG’s website.
